EuroBasket Championship 2013 has begun on Wednesday, 4th September. We’ve already seen two days of matches and we are proud to say that Slovene team is doing very well after beating Czech Republic and Spain!

Practical information for the visiters
- 1st round is taking place in Ljubljana, Celje, Koper and Jesenice from 4th until 10th September
- 2nd round from 11th to 16th and 3rd final round from 18th to 22nd September are happening in Ljubljana Stozice
- If you travel to the basketball matches by train, Slovene railways are offering 50 % off train fares for all EuroBasket ticket holders.
- Three hours before and after the matches all EuroBasket ticket holders will be able to travel for free on all city buses operated by LPP.
- Ljubljana Tourist Office is offering sightseeing tours and adventure trips around the town. You can choose from treetop adventure, Krvavec Summer park, rowing, helicopter flight, pub crawl, guided double decker tour, tourist boat ride, guided city walk tour, visiting a river gorge or roman town of Emona by torchlight.
