Tina Maze, Jakov Fak, Peter Prevc, Robert Kranjec and 62 more Slovenian athletes are travelling to the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi. Last week Slovenian Olympic Committee has released the names of all 66 participants that will represent Slovenia. They will be competing in alpine skiing, biathlon, snowboarding, ice hockey, ski jumping, free style jumping and cross country skiing.
Slovenian hockey team, first time ever at the olympic games, will be playing among 12 top world teams and they feel very poisitive with NHL star Anže Kopitar among them. While Tina Maze has not shown her best results this year yet, ski jumping team has shown top results during past few weeks. And do not forget that women will compete in ski jumping in Sochi for the first time in the history of winter olympic games. Špela Rogelj, Maja Vtič, Katja Požun and Eva Logar are the Slovenes you will be following in Sochi.
