Winter Olympic Games in Sochi are finished and Slovenia is proud of 8 medals in total. More than in any Winter Olympics before and with two gold medals for the first time!
From left to the right:
Vesna Fabjan – bronze medal in cross country sprint
Tina Maze – gold medal in downhill and giant slalom skiing
Peter Prevc – silver in normal hill and bronze in large hill ski jumping
Teja Gregorin – bronze in biathlon, 10 km pursuit
Žan Košir – silver in giant slalom and bronze in slalom snowboarding
Slovene athlets achieved some more great results:
7th place in ice hockey,
8th place for Tim Kevin Ravnjak in snowboarding half-pipe,
6th place for Maja Vtič in ski jumping normal hill,
10th place for Ilka Štuhec in downhill alpine skiing,
5th place for ski jumping men team,
6th place for Filip Flisar in freestyle skiing,
6th place for biathlon men team
and more.
