If you want to eat in top restaurants, you know you will pay a high price for your meal. But not anymore. In May 2012 for the first time in Slovenia, 12 restaurants in Maribor offered meals for 12 €. For a reasonable price people were able to eat in fancy restaurants and taste new food prepared by the most known chefs in Slovenia. The project that was first introduced 20 years ago in New York, has finally found its place in Slovenia.
Restaurant Week Slovenia from 12th until 20th October 2013
After a big sucess in 2012, the organisers invited the top chefs from all over Slovenia to join their event in October 2013. 64 restaurants were selected to prepare a set menu with three courses for only 13 €. The famous week has not started yet, but some restaurants are already sold out for the time of this event.
It is not surprising, when you see the list of the restaurants to choose from: Otočec castle, Ribič Ptuj, Posestvo Pule, Gostilna As Ljubljana, Smrekarjev hram Ljubljana, Shambala Ljubljana, Maxim Ljubljana, Francl Celje, Pri Lojzetu Zemono, JB Ljubljana, Na gradu Ljubljana etc.
