Association for the protection of the Alps, Cipra, has just published Time tables for public transport in the Julian Alps region. There you will find detailed information how to travel around the region by bus, train, cable car and boat and also how to get to Ljubljana and other bigger neighboring towns.
You will find free printed editions of the time tables in Slovenian and in English in local tourist offices. Electronic edition is available to download in both languages as well.
