To encourage tourists as well as locals to use public transport and to visit less known towns and places, new Hop on Hop off bus lines have been organised in the Julian Alps region.
From Bohinj and Bled to Pokljuka
Every Saturday and Sunday between 28th June and 31st August you can catch a hop on hop off bus from Bohinjska Bistrica towards the Bohinj lake and to Rudno polje as well as from Bled to Rudno Polje at Pokljuka plateau. Buses are running only 3 times a day so make sure to check their schedule carefully. Daily ticket will cost you 5 € per person, but it is free for children up to 10 years old.
Round trip from Bled to Radovljica and Kropa
Every Tuesday and Thursday between 1st July and 31st August you can catch a hop on hop off bus to visit towns in Bled region. On the way you can visit an iron forging towns of Kropa and Kamna Gorica, Lipnica castle ruins, charming old towns of Radovljica and Begunje as well as a pilgrimage church in Brezje. The bus is running 6 times a day for 5 € per person, but it is free for children up to 10 years old.
