Even if the majority of my readers come from France, I do not forget this pretty cousins (I know not… yet) province of Quebec (poke Marie Julie 🙂
I decided to take advantage of my research to reach this beautiful country, you’re going to, I hope, do the opposite way 🙂
Quite a few options are possible:
Flight Montreal – Ljubljana: 1050-1250 CAD
This is the option, you would expect the most expensive. From 1050CAD with Turkish Airlines and 1250CAD with Air Canada / Lufthansa.
Flight Montreal – Venice: 850CAD
From 850CAD with Air Canada / Lufthansa, it will add a Venice – Ljubljana route, for example with Goopti (€50 A/R).
Montreal – Munich flight: 850CAD
At the same price as Venice, but with a direct Air Canada flight, but it will cost €90 roundtrip with Goopti
Montreal – Budapest: 850CAD
Toronto – Zagreb: 790CAD
There are very many bus or train connecting Zagreb to Ljubljana, or Goopti (€40 A/R).
Toronto – Trieste: 750CAD
Very close to the Slovenian border, this option is perfect if you plan to visit the Valley of the soča River.
Toronto – Milan: 700 CAD
Via the lowcost of Ljubljana
Ljubljana home 2 lines lowcost:
WizzAir to Brussels (Charleroi): 30CAD (650CAD for Montreal – Brussels)
or London Luton LTN: 40CAD
EasyJet from London Stansted STN: 80CAD (600CAD Toronto – London)
Via the lowcost of Venice, Budapest, Pula…
The advantage of the lowcosts is that you can take without it more expensive cost of one-way. You can land in Venice and re – take off from Budapest, for example, or of Pula… To make a roadtrip with Slovenia and Croatia, Italy, Hungary…
These options depend largely on the time of year or you want to leave. Some flights are seasonal, the lowcost during school holidays prices not always advantageous. It also depends on many days before departure how you book your ticket.
I advise you to use Skyscanner, for example Canada – Venice:
