Located at Vila Vipolže — described as 'the most beautiful Renaissance villa in Slovenia' with nearly 900 years of history — Kruh in Vino shows the way how to offer hospitality. The restaurant features a warm welcome, horseradish spread and a torn-off piece of bread, with Thonet chairs and an old wooden bench by the wall facing a large stone preserved from an old restaurant in Dornberk. Homemade baked bread that slowly rises for 30 hours is filled with local vegetables, homemade meats, and regional cheeses. The wines come from neighbouring vintners. The food was created by chef Tomaž Kavčič (of Zemono Manor / Gostilna pri Lojzetu) so that his team in Brdo can recreate it. In short, this place is about small snacks with a lot of wine! Chef : Tomaž Kavčič (concept creator).
